Set Of 2 Victorian Gothic Oak Dining Chairs
A very decorative pair of antique Victorian Gothic chairs in dark oak with caned seats dating from circa 1890. They have elaborately carved backs with carved and pierced central panels and a carved back rail depicting vine leaves. The side supports are barley twist and topped with finials. The back legs are also barley twist and the stretchers and front legs are turned and solid carved seats. The caning to the seats is in good order.
Construction/Wood: Oak Condition Report: The caning to the seats is in good order. Some slight give to the frames commensurate with age (but not too wobbly). Wear and marks commensurate with age to the frames.
