Description of item for sale. This half door would have originally been used as a pass-through in a railing or other interior opening, probably in a church. We date it to the late 1800's or early 1900's and we bought it in France. It's sturdy and solid with beautiful woodwork and hand-made wrought iron hinges.

Overall it is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.
