47 Massive Antique French Gothic Revival Oak Wood Display Pedestal/Plant Stand
Description of item for sale. This large solid oak pedestal is from France and it dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's.
It is in classic Gothic revival style. The height makes it especially suitable for display of a larger piece of art, a plant or a flower arrangement.
It is finished on all sides. It is in very good antique condition with no damage of any significance. Note the separation in the two piece top surface that is due to normal shrinkage of the wood as it aged.
As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions : 47" tall, 18" wide and 18 deep (at the top).
