7' Tall Pair of Antique French Gothic Shrines/Niches/Display Cabinets in Oak

Description of item for sale. This matching pair of 7 foot tall antique Gothic revival shrines/statue niches is from France and dates to the mid/late 1800's. These were originally built into the structure of a church interior. They are made from solid oak and finished quite dark. They're in very good antique condiition with minor chips, scratches and wear as expected. One has a small amount of old woodworm damage in one roof panel (photo) and there is a piece of trim missing inside one niche (photo). Note the unfinished structure in the rear, including clear rough hand carving typical of very old work.

As we do with all of our furniture, we finished them with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions : Each shrine is 83" tall, 33" wide and 19 deep (front to back). We welcome Local Inspections and Pickups. Get images that make Supersized seem small.
