DESCRIPTION :- ORIGINAL LOVELY QUALITY HAND CARVED VICTORIAN ERA COAL SCUTTLE WITH ASH SHOVEL, THE LID IS CARVED WITH A FISH OR DOLPHIN AND THE SIDES ARE CARVED WITH A IMAGE OF A MYTHICAL CREATURE, THE HANDLE IS CARVED TO APPEAR AS A TREE BRANCH AND ALSO THE COAL SHOVAL HAS A CARVED HANDLE PLUS THE ACTUAL SCOOP PART HAS BEEN REPLACED AT SOME POINT WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE A BRONZE/BRASS COMPANY OR BUSINESS NAME PLATE. SIZE :-19" DEEP, 15.5" HIGH, 13" WIDE, 15" LONG SHOVEL. ITEM CONDITION :-GOOD FAIR CONDITION FOR AGE AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO'S AND HAS BEEN LEFT IN AS FOUND CONDITION LEAVING A NATURAL PATINA, THERE ARE NO REPAIRS CRACKS SIGNS OF WORM OR DENTS.
