These wonderful doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian building. They are made of oak and are unpainted. Each has 3 panels of stained glass at the top with a raised wood panel below. The wood panels are fluted on both sides with small shelves at the bottom.
Each door has 2 gothic arched panels of stained glass with a kite shaped panel above, separated by wood mullions. There are no cracks or breaks in the stained glass but 2 pieces were replaced with mirrors. Most hardware will need to be replaced.
They measure 55 inches wide together, 83.75 tall, and over 2.5 inches thick. The doors are very heavy, well over 100 pounds each.
Overall they are in good condition. Scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning.
One of the shelves below the wood panels is missing. The right door has a light joint separation but is solid and sturdy. Please look at the pictures carefully.
Please inquire with your zip code and I will get you a quote quickly. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition.17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
