Antique Gothic Revival French Bookcase/Display Cabinet in Oak
Description of item for sale. This Gothic revival bookcase is from France and it dates to the very late 1800's or the early 1900's. The cabinet is made from oak and finished to a medium/dark oak color. This cabinet is very solid and the three adjustable height shelves are sturdy and stable. Note that the shelves are new replacements made in the old style with antique wood along the front edges.
It has a single drawer at the bottom. It is in very good antique condition with no damage of any significance. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.
