This Pair of Gothic Bishop Chairs adds a Traditional look with an Eclectic touch. Each Chair is exceptionally sturdy with the craftsmanship you'd expect out of Early 20th Century pieces. The solid oak construction makes each chair relatively heavy and displays a drastic grain throughout. The Pair is comfortable to be seated in and provides great back support with a cushioned seat.

You'll enjoy a deep red faux leather upholstery, the red contracts nicely off the deep oak finish. The seats were reupholstered at some point in the Chairs life, although it was not done recently. You wont find any major wear to the seat tops, although there is a small hole shown on one chair - This is circled in our photo gallery for reference.

The backrest of each Chair includes a tall reeded motif along with a Heraldry Coat of Arms with is carved and lacquered. This Coats of Arms is most associated with "Bend Sinister", one of the more common rankings in Heraldry.

Overall, the set is in exceptional condition, you will find mild surface scratches, minor chips and finish blemishes from age.
