French Antique Gothic Revival Cabinet/Console/Sideboard, Highly Carved Oak

This solid oak Neo Gothic cabinet on stand is from France and dates to the early to mid 1900's. The woodwork is very intricate with excellent hand carved detail.

It is a very high quality piece with excellent fit and finish. The doors open and close smoothly and they are secured with working locks. Two plastic tabs have been added inside to keep the doors from swinging in. Both doors on the piece are bowed slightly however they lock in place just fine. Note the detail in the locks and keys themselves. This cabinet is in very good condition with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age. Note that there are cracks in the bottom panel from the wood shrinking over time (see photos). Dimensions: 67" high, 56.5" wide, 22 deep (front to back). Description of item for sale.
