Pair 5 Foot Tall French Antique Gothic Revival Panels/Doors in Oak Wood
Description of item for sale. These finely carved antique Gothic revival panels are from France and date to the early 1900's. They were originally armoire doors.
Each panel is nicely carved from solid oak and finished dark. They are in very good antique condition-straight and solid with the usual amount of nicks and scratches from their many years of gentle use. Note the horizontal crack in the upper panel of the left door, a chip near the lock and a shallow chip along one edge (see detail photos).As we do with all of our furniture, we finished them with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions : each panel is 64" tall One is 24" wide and the other is 21 wide. We use top quality packing materials-new boxes and new or clean recycled Styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap.
