This pair of antique doors or panels dates to the early 1900's. They were once in a French church. They are made from solid oak and are very sturdy. The finish is worn and the wood is raw in some areas. Note that the back side is not finished at all. We do not see evidence of hinges so we think that these were used as wall paneling. However, these can easily be turned into doors. There are a couple of cracks in the flat panels from the wood expanding and contracting over the years (see photos). Overall these panels are in good condition ready to be refinished or left with a rustic look. Note that there are large cutouts in the panels where hardware was once attached and a saw cut in one of the panels at the top (see photos).
